-S	-ES
We usually add -s to form the plural of a verb: SHOW = shows	Exceptions: DO = does GO = goes
Consonant + -y: -y = -i + es TRY = tries Vowel + -y: -y + s PLAY = plays	After a sibilant sound (s, ss, sh, ch, x, z…) we add -es: FISH = fishes CATCH = catches
